What your report can tell us.
No. The PlanYourPC index combines editorial hardware tiers and memory capacity using your selected workload. It does not measure FPS, temperatures, stability or component health. Unknown parts are left unscored, and partial scores are labeled. Separate Geekbench 7 CPU and Steel Nomad DX12 GPU panels show published community references and let you compare your own results. Uploading DxDiag does not run either benchmark.
No. DxDiag does not reliably identify your motherboard revision, power supply, free memory slots or case dimensions. Every hardware suggestion includes the checks you should make with your PC or component manufacturer.
The analyzer reads it in your browser’s memory. It does not upload it, store it in browser storage, or include it in the address bar. “Analyze another” or refreshing the page clears the analysis. Saved summaries include hardware details but exclude the report’s machine name, machine ID and diagnostic logs.
You can inspect laptop and mini-PC reports. Selected integrated GPUs and mobile CPUs have clearly qualified estimates; discrete laptop GPUs are not assigned desktop scores. Choose your device type for tailored advice. Unknown or new models remain unscored. Integrated graphics use system RAM, even when DxDiag calls some of it “Dedicated Memory.”
