The snapshot provides summary specifications. RAM: speed, module arrangement, colour, first-word latency and CAS latency. Drives: capacity, type/RPM, cache, size and interface. Boards: socket/CPU, form, maximum memory, slot count and colour. PSUs: form, certification, wattage, modularity and colour. Cases: type, colour, included PSU, side panel, volume and 3.5-inch bays.
Manufacturer documentation supplements selected exact models with memory support, ports, connectors, clearances, drive performance and other facts. Each field in PlanYourPC identifies manufacturer-checked, catalogue-only or missing information. A core-check badge applies only to the fields listed in that panel. It is not a complete compatibility guarantee.
Model codes extracted from listing names remain unconfirmed. DIMM size, RAM profiles, ECC support, motherboard ports, PSU cables and case clearances are not inferred from product appearance or names. RAM capacities use binary module units; advertised drive capacities use decimal units.
No complete public source with every PCPartPicker specification was available in the reviewed sources. Mirrors of this dataset share its summary-level depth. Full coverage and live UK prices/stock need an authorised maintained data source and additional exact-model verification.

INTERNAL DETAILS AND PRICING
Product detail panels and exported specification links stay inside PlanYourPC. Historical prices, price-per-GB figures, ratings and remote images are discarded. Shopping searches are separate; prices are entered by the visitor. New listings do not create benchmark scores.
The import fingerprint, original product provenance, manufacturer evidence and reproducible import are retained in the source repository under data/catalog and scripts/import-components.mjs.
